CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS CAUSE SHANGHAI GOVERNMENT TO HALT ALL NON-ESSENTIAL BUSINESS FOR THE NEXT 2 WEEKS
January 27th, 2020
Due to the ongoing concerns of the spread of Coronavirus in China & across the globe, the government of Shanghai has placed a strict lock-down on the city, allowing only essential business (public service, hospitals, supermarkets, police, etc.) to be conducted until February 9th, 2020, extending their Lunar New Year holiday.
Fracht Shanghai staff have been instructed to work from home using mobile devices & laptops to the best of their ability until given permission by the government to return to work. It is the governments hope that reducing travel will also reduce the spread of the virus.
The Fracht Shanghai team will return from the Lunar New Year Holiday on January 31st, and will continue to work to the best of their ability from home. We ask that any of our USA customers who have questions regarding their shipments over this time to reach out to your Fracht North America contact for any questions or concerns. We will continue to work with the Shanghai team to ensure that we provide the best possible service.
Thank you!
